My friend Val informed me that Friday is a new moon, and lots of babies decide to arrive during new or full moons. So let's hope that is the case. That will give me today to run errands with my mother-in-law and then maybe I'll go into labor tomorrow and have the baby on Friday.
If only one could plan for these things! But one cannot.

I hate to push it off even further...but the moon would kick start the onset of labor...not birth. You may go into labor on the 1st and then have him on the 2nd--Hey! An even number!

Let's see - famous people born on Aug. 1st - Jerry Garcia (barf) and Yves Saint Laurent. I think it's best for the peanut to come out on Aug. 2nd so he can share birthdays with heroes like Carroll O'Connor (ohhh Archie!) and the Terminator hero Edward Furlong.
