Finn is dressing up as Charlie Brown today!! We are looking forward to a quick trick-or-treat tonight ... this is from music class on Thursday. Finn with his friend Jillian, the scary tiger!
Happy Halloween!
(and thanks Marla for the photo.)

cousin gigi!!
Finn has another beautiful new cousin, Gigi (short for Gabrielle Judith). Baby Gigi, who may be the first brunette Wagoner girl in a while, was born on Thursday at 6:28 pm, 6 lbs 7 oz and 19" long. Congratulations to my brother Mick and sister-in-law Susan ... we can't wait to meet our new niece/cousin!! And we looooove the name.

holiday sneak peek
The wonderful Brie came over this morning to take Finn's photos for the holidays, so although this might very well be featured on our holiday card and therefore you'll have to look at it for the rest of the year, I had to post it. The colors were so beautiful and his smile is so real, I LOVE this picture!

pet store
Last weekend, we decided to run some errands in North Haven and took Finn to Petco to see the fish and birds. Petco was actually pretty lame. But thanks to the complete nonsensical development patterns of suburban big-box shopping areas, there is a Pet Smart literally next door. We went there and saw MUCH better animals: cats for adoption - which we resisted, dogs being groomed, cute little birds and hamsters, and ... unfortunately, a rat, which Finn really enjoyed. Thank goodness Pet Smart doesn't also carry baby French Bulldogs - again, not that we'd give in - but one would have been much more difficult to resist than say, a rat.

sunday brunch
Yes! We finally made it out for Sunday brunch just like in the olden days, sans mimosas. We went to a new-ish place called Jenelle's, right on the water, so much fun for watching boats in the marina and eating pancakes. This photo is of Finn showing his pancakes who was boss. I don't think you need me to spell it out for you, who exactly won that round.
He has been in a quite cranky mood all day, I'm not sure if it's because of his flu shot (doubtful) or because he slept for 12 1/2 hours last night (also doubtful) or what. It's a nice day though so we're going to get outside for a walk and hopefully that will help. If pancakes didn't help though ... really, don't they cure everything?

"Look at the camera at the same time? Never! Ba hahahaha!"
We saw Quinn and her mom Robin on Friday, which was fun for Finn because Quinn has really good toys. They are beginning to interact, which was really cute, but impossible to photograph.
Anyway, I realized that I hadn't posted in a week. Eek! Sorry about that.
Finn has started trying to communicate with a variety of words, most of which start with the letter B.
Ba! = Banana
Ba = Ball
Boona = Balloon
Those are the big 3. Then there is bo for box, boo for book, bah for blanket, do for dog (or woof), and this morning he seemed to say gah for giraffe. In addition to the basics like mama, dada, oma (Grandma) and papa (Grandpa). Granddad and Nana, I'm sure he'll have names for you too the next time he sees each of you.

pumpkin patch
Today we went to a farm called Pumpkinseed Hill for Finn's friend Claire's 2nd birthday party. It poured all morning but thankfully by the time we arrived at the farm, it had dried off a bit and was overcast but still warm enough to pick out a pumpkin and see the pigs and other cool stuff. Lots of fun!
