One of Finn's favorite toddler books was called "Not a Box" - such a good one. Today, another reminder that rather than spending lots of money on a few gifts it's a better value to buy one huge thing that comes in a huge, super-fun box. Or a not-a-box, if you will.
They are busy installing the radiant floor in their new apartment.

The kids love the story, not a box when we read it to them at preschool. We bring in boxes and they come up with the best things to make. I agree on no gifts and going for the biggest box. My boys are currently fighting over nothing as their MANY, NEW toys sit untouched...
SO true, a big box provides hours of entertainment :) Looking up the Not a Box book now...I am so out of the loop on popular toddler books.
Btw, I like the photos you decided on for your Christmas card. Caleb even said, 'Well, Tess is a cutie, isn't she.' And he barely looks at Christmas cards, yet comments, so that is saying something!
